- Frequent coughing, especially at night
- Wheezing
- Shortness of breath
- Tightness or pain in the chest
- Trouble sleeping due to shortness of breath, coughing, or wheezing
If the child is displaying any of these symptoms, the parent should take them to a doctor for a diagnosis.
