Am I expecting too much of my 5 year old if I think she should be self advocating without issue and not having any tantrums?

It is important to remember that children are still developing and learning at the age of 5. While it is important to encourage self-advocacy, it is unrealistic to expect a 5 year old to have no issues or tantrums. Children of this age are still learning to manage their emotions, and it is important for parents to provide guidance and support. Parents should strive to provide a supportive environment for their child, and to help them to understand and express their emotions in healthy ways. #selfadvocacy #5yearold #tantrums #parenting
